Who We Are

JFGH’s primary mission is to enable adults with disabilities to be valued, independent and integrated members of the community.

What We Do

JFGH offers several options for receiving support services and provides training to enhance independent living skills, personal assistance with daily living, and long-term support. All JFGH residents are employed, enrolled in school or participate in day programs. To the extent of their abilities, the residents also share in the household chores such as doing laundry and assisting with meal preparation. In addition to our traditional homes, JFGH offers our apartment program for higher functioning individuals with disabilities who can live independently but can benefit from drop-in support. JFGH also provides residential services to individuals in Community Supportive Living Arrangements where the individual and/or family own or rent the dwelling and JFGH oversees the management of staff and counseling services. The Meaningful Opportunities for Successful Transitions (MOST™) program is a unique one-year program of services and support for young adults with disabilities to help them make a successful transition from school to a placement at an established vocational or traditional day program.
