The Family One

Mission: To create an environment, a culture, and opportunities, empowering youth to find their voice, passion, and purpose.

The Family One was founded in early 2021 and seeks to create, implement and operate programs and events that provide support for local youth who may be considered at-risk. We strive to aid in working through issues of conflict and to reframe and reposition the youth’s understanding of accountability and decision-making.

The Family One creates and maintains space for at-risk youth to speak honestly; offers mentoring services; provides outlets for new experiences; implements programs that focus on personal development; provides connections for youth to pursue passions; and instills confidence, pride, and integrity.

Family One offers various educational programs covering topics including but not limited to leadership, culinary, athletics, arts, and music appreciation.
