Who We Are
Wildlife Rescue League is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Northern Virginia whose mission is to support the rehabilitation of sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife and, through education, to foster the appreciation of our wild neighbors. We are always looking for volunteers who live in Northern Virginia (the cities of Alexandria, Falls Church, Fairfax, Manassas and Manassas Park, and the counties of Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, and Fauquier) to help wildlife in need. WRL depends on licensed wildlife rehabilitators, transporters, and helpline volunteers to achieve its mission.
What We Do
We work with licensed rehabilitators, wildlife vets, and other organizations to rescue wildlife. We operate a helpline to answer questions about wildlife and to direct wildlife to available resources. We employ transporters to transfer wildlife.
